Course: English for Communication
At QUEENS we offer students the opportunity to study English in the UK, and attain international standard qualifications in communicative English (general English).
Our English for Communication Courses are modular in format so that you can join a course at any time throughout the year and study for periods that suit your personal circumstances. These courses enable you to acquire the language and communication skills that you need, by studying in England, the home of the English language.
We offer 7 levels of Communicative English study programmes that vary in intensity to fit your particular needs. This course is available from Beginner to Expert Level. The courses can be joined on any Monday throughout the year and have a maximum class size of 12. The course can be studied for a period of between two and 14 months.
Students are tested and interviewed on arrival at QUEENS and are then placed in classes at a language level to suit their needs. The training methods are functional and practical, and a wide range of effective teaching methods are utilised to suit different types of learner. Our interactive techniques stimulate interest, inspire motivation, increase the efficiency of the learning process and achieve the highest possible levels of retention. All course options are conducted around a busy social and activity programme.

Course Duration: 2-14 months
Course Designations: 6 lessons weekly (each of 60 minutes' duration)
Entry Dates: The courses are conducted year-round, and can be joined on most Mondays throughout the year.
Minimum Age: 16 years
Course Structure & Content:
QUEENS English-language courses are designed and structured at different language levels to enable international students to develop all 4 English language skills simultaneously, as well as their knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary. Our system of learning also enables students at an Intermediate Level of English and above to progress to developing their communication skills in academic, vocational or professional context. The course material includes a variety of the very latest course books and software.
